• 9th Annual Community Talent Show
  Now a well-established annual tradition at the Franklin Opera House, this is the Ninth Annual Community Talent Show. Historically with performers ranging from 4 to 80-something, and acts ranging from dance, to comedy, to singing, to trapeze artistry, and more, this promises to be a unique and community-spirit-filled evening of entertainment for the whole family.



• Gowns For Girls Sponsored By FHL
  Calling all prom-goers! If you need a dress for your upcoming prom or formal – Plymouth is the place to be on Saturday, March 27th from 1-4pm. The Faith, Hope and Love Foundation is giving dresses to those in need and is inviting all young women who need one for their big night! This is a ONE DAY event and at the close of the day, dresses will no longer be available. Come one, come all for a fun day of dresses, accessories, refreshments and more at the Pemi Youth Center 111 Main Street Plymouth, NH! • Laconia Muskrats Hot Stove Luncheon
  The newest club in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, the Laconia Muskrats, will hold a 'Hot Stove' luncheon at The Margate in Laconia Saturday, March 27th from 11am-2pm. • Maple Sugar Madness! at Prescott Farm
  Saturdays, March 6-27, 2010, 10:00-11:30, 12:00-1:30, 2:00-3:30 Join us to experience an old-fashioned New England tradition — making maple syrup! From tapping a tree to tasting delicious maple syrup, you will have hands-on participation in every step of the syrup making process. Our environmental educators will help you to build tree ID skills and learn the parts of a tree and their functions, use measuring tools to find an appropriate tree to tap, use historical and modern tree tapping tools, learn the history of maple sugaring including Native American legends, and discover the math and chemical/physical science in the boiling process. The program involves a 20 minute walk to our Sugar House—please note that you will be hiking back up hill after the program. Please wear boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Snowshoes will be provided as needed. FEES: $5/adult; $4/child age 4-12 (members of PFEEC) OR $8/adult; $7/child age 4-12 (non-members). Ages 3 & under are free! • Meredith Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Community Center Birthday Bash
  Join Us in the morning for the Easter egg hunt registration begins at 9:30am. Search for eggs, enjoy refreshments, have you picture taken with the Easter Bunny, and enter drawing to win Prizes. Community Center Birthday Bash begins after the egg hunt at 11:00-2:00. A free event. Climbing wall, bouncy house, lunch, games, arts & crafts.
